Table lamps are 25" or taller and are the better all round choice. Your lamps should not be so tall that they become the focus in the room.

Your bedroom is about you. This is probably the only room in the house you don't share with your entire family. This is your space and if you're married your spouses space too. Here you don't have to think about how others will feel in the room. You don't have to worry about how the dcor will be received. All that matters here is "you." Isn't it grand?

So take your time. Design a bedroom that looks and feels right. And don't rush to buy just any old bedroom lamps.
